The Victoria Gallery and Museum -or VG&M– is a statement University of Liverpool building, designed by John Waterhouse and giving the world the term ‘Red brick University’. With musuem and gallery exhibits, a stunning lecture theatre (the Leggate) and lovely lunch cafe, this is a great venue for events, talks, tours and functions.
Bus route Take the 7 or 79 from Ranelagh Street (stop GA) to Mount Pleasant. Alight and the Victoria Gallery and Museum is on your left.
Closest train station Lime Street Station
Walk from Lime Street 14-minute walk. Taking Skelhorne Street uphill, drop down Copperas Hill and turn left on to Hawke Street. When you reach Brownlow Hill turn left again and carry on uphill until your reach Mount Pleasant. The Victoria Gallery and Museum is on your left.
